AIESEC is an international organization that encourages youth to explore and develop their potential to bring about a positive impact on society. The partnership between AIESEC and Artemisia aims at providing university students and recently-graduated young professionals from across the world with opportunities to take part in social businesses via internship programs, competitions, conferences and the integration into a global network.
ANDE (Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs) is an international network of organizations that give support to small and growing business of development countries. In this network, Artemisia is co-founder of a regional center, together with other 5 organizations, for the creation of joint initiatives that will support the development of the social business field in Brazil.
AshokaAshoka is a non-profit organization operating in 60 countries which has pioneered actions in the area of social entrepreneurship. The global partnership between Ashoka and Artemisia includes a range of different initiatives, among which the support to Programa Geração Muda Mundo (Brazil), Youth Venture Mumbai, (India) and social business initiatives in Latin America; the partnership for the international competition Social Business Changemakers; and the funding of social business entrepreneurs.
iCats is an initiative of LGT Venture Philanthropy, the social arm of The Bank of the Princely House of Liechtenstein. This program aims at bridging the existing gap philanthropic and social organizations have in regard to resources and expert professionals capable of using their knowledge to become a catalyst for initiatives with social impact. As of 2010, social businesses supported by Artemisia may count on an iCat – an international senior professional – to help them for up to 11 months by bringing the expertise required to their specific business needs.
NextBillion Brasil is a knowledge and opportunities platform focused on entrepreneurs, NGOs, social leaders, companies, students and other players interested on exploring the existing connection between social development and business. Through the publication of articles, news, events and job spots at the sector of business that reduce poverty, the NextBillion Brasil hopes to bring closer the various stakeholders in this scenario.
The Unreasonable Institute selects 25 young, high-impact entrepreneurs from across the globe to attend its 10-week, mentor-intensive incubation program in Boulder, Colorado. During these 10 weeks, these entrepreneurs undergo rigorous skill training, gain access to seed capital, obtain legal advice, prototype consulting, and receive mentorship from 60 proven entrepreneurs and investors. Through this incubation program, the Unreasonable Institute's aim is to enable 25 social ventures a year to effectively address a major global issue in a way that is financially self-sustaining and globally scalable to millions of people.
Aliança Empreendedora Aliança Empreendedora is an organization that fosters and supports entrepreneurial initiatives of low-income people and communities as a tool for social inclusion and economic development. Aliança and Artemisia are partners in the development of specifically designed methodologies to create social businesses in community-based organizations, so as to drive the implementation of social businesses led by low-income communities in Brazil.
Instituto Papel Solidário (IPS)Instituto Papel Solidário is a social venture that renders an array of consulting services - from accounting and legal to management of social organizations, social businesses and companies. IPS provides legal and accounting services to social businesses that take part in Artemisia’s network. Additionally, IPS and Artemisia also cooperate to discuss and propose legal and judicial models for the field of social businesses.
KerygmaKerygma operates in the areas of consulting, education and research for companies, government agencies and social organizations, conducting initiatives focused on technology auditing, innovation training, innovative management, project funding, market surveys, and economic analysis, among others. Kerygma and Artemisia worked together to develop a survey on social businesses.
Projeto Setor 2,5Projeto Setor 2,5 aims at driving and inspiring business people and youth to develop their own social business models so as to help reduce poverty around the world. Artemisia and 2,5 have partnered to generate and exchange knowledge, tools and practices on social businesses.
Renaissance Executive Forums Renaissance Executive Forums is an international company which helps top executives effect positive changes in their businesses and lives. The Renaissance – Artemisia partnership mobilizes executives to mentor entrepreneurs from Artemisia’s network for their mutual benefit: while executives get acquainted with emerging innovations in the social business field, entrepreneurs are able to acquire skills that help them improve their business results.
SEBRAE-SP is public-private organization that drives the development of entrepreneurship and micro- and small-sized companies in the state of São Paulo. SEBRAE-SP and Artemisia have partnered to disseminate the concept of social business entrepreneurship across SEBRAE-SP network, as well as to provide participants from both networks with opportunities to learn and exchange experiences.
The Hub São Paulo is a collective office where people with innovative ideas – be them micro entrepreneurs, consultants, independent professionals or small businesses – may have access to resources, connect with peers, develop and share knowledge to put their ideas into practice for a much better world. Artemisia and The Hub have created and implemented the Start Up Lab, becoming partners to foster and support social businesses.
Vox Capital is a risk capital fund that invests in small companies serving the low-income population and contributing to reduce poverty. Vox Capital partners with Artemisia in the Social Business Knowledge Portal and in connecting investors to social business entrepreneurs.
