This program aims at developing creativity and the entrepreneurial capabilities of participants.  Technical skills, like an introduction to social business models and strategic management, as well as  behavioral aspects, such as  defining one’s leadership profile, becoming more results-oriented and tapping into one’s personal power, will all be addressed. During the course, a professional team will map all innovations emerging from dialogue sessions, and ensure that participants leave the program ready to implement their own ideas.

Target audience

  1. University students (with a track record of entrepreneurial experience)
  2. Entrepreneurs and managers interested in the social business field
  3. People who show strong initiative and would like to become entrepreneurs, but lack a concrete business idea
  4. Age range of 18 to 40

Objectives

  1. Present the concept of social business in an experiential and practical format
  2. Provide participants with an opportunity to understand the reality behind developing a social business
  3. Practice new ways of seeing social problems and discover potential solutions
  4. Create an environment that fosters the generation of new business ideas

Methodology

  • Introduction to Social Business
    This module is conducted before program enrollment, and targets applicants shortlisted for the course. The objective is to introduce the social business field and Artemisia programs.

  • Best Practices for Social Business
    This module is specifically designed to allow participants to get to know each other, understand Artemisia and its programs, and dive into the theme of social business.

  • Community-Based Market Survey

    This hands-on module allows participants to experience the reality of low-income communities, helping them identify actual demands and create products and/or services to meet them.

  • Idea Generation
    This module focuses on developing new social business ideas.

  • EmPacto

    Intensive seminar that develops participants’ entrepreneurial behavior to help them improve their professional and personal lives.

  • Personal and Professional Biography
    We invite the participants to reflect on their experience in the program to define their next steps in life and in their careers
